Hello - - thanks for your message.

One is currently attempting to sign up for Gaia. If successful (I am waiting on an activation email) my user name will be that of my refuge or Dharma name, Tharlam Gyatso. I look forward to speaking with you there.

Thank you. I was never very comfortable at Zaadz. I think I read their terms and conditions wrong. Anyway, the T&C at Gaia are more to my liking. Even so, I really like the idea of this smaller community. I've always been more comfortable meeting with one or two friends than attending a party.

Thank you for starting this group.

Glad you like Seattle. I'm just down the road in Portland, also a very nice place.

“Try to Learn Something about everything and Everything about something.” That is me...I know a little bit about a lot of things and a lot about a few things!

Seeking truth since 1970 through individual and academic study. Am inspired to “become” non-attached Buddhist. Love to write, travel and read. Feel most comfortable in silence, on a warm beach or stroking my beloved dog.

Life continues to fascinate and inspire me.

Am married and have two grown children. Have lived all over the United States and love to travel in my RV.

I am 51 years young. I love teaching. I have had over 100 jobs in my life. I have lived in 9 states.

Love reading, dogs, travel, the beach and the mountains, my family, and Native American Spiritualism.

I have two intelligent and articulate offspring who continue to awe me with their accomplishments and wisdom. They are two people that remain true to their bliss in many ways. They have given up security for freedom and retained the enlightenment idea that thinking for oneself is crucial and to be a sponge to all life offers.
Teaching inspires me, challenges me and helps me to continue to grow into a more enlightened thinker and keep me working to remain open to the flow I need to be creative in life. I need to learn and am ever a student of life.

I would like to live in a cob home or my RV in the southwest. I love Northern Nevada. I also love Taos, New Mexico, Sedona, AZ and Arches National Park in Utah.

I love to read and to take classes and write papers and learn new ideas. I love old movies and old songs.

Have just moved to SeaTacn, WA and my husband has opened his own Chiropractic business in Renton, WA and we are actively manifesting a wholistic healing center there.

I teach online World Literature Classes and am obtaining a second masters in Lit and Film

Loss and Grief

There is loss in every moment of our lives. Someone said we start to die the minute we are born. It is a fact of life. Loss is part of living. Grief is something very different. Grief grips your soul like a vise. It rips the essence of your perception of security away from the fabric of your being. It generates sadness, hurt and longing. And it is individual in its time frame.

Loss and grief connected with death is our most common cause. But we also can lose relationships, our health, our sense… Continue

It's been awhile

Since I was here doing anything...

I apologize, but you all know how difficult it is to do all the things we'd like to do, given time constraints...

I know excuses....

they are like *ssholes, everyone has one...

But please know I still share your journey, big and small and appreciate you all here more than you know...

My life is settling into an online one. I teach online, I blog online and my best friends are all online...

Sometimes, I need grounding.

But I am ever grateful for the space… Continue
