About Me:

My spiritual path is highly individual but the practice of metaphysics and following the pathless path of Taoism with somewhat of a pantheistic nature/science bend of soul and intellect comes the closes to describing the loves of my personal sojourn in this life. I am in the second 50 years of my life and have two sons born between my 46th and 50th years. I live with my husband and business partner in a rural wilderness area of Missouri. Our business extends the life of, by utilizing the value of, extracted resources previously made for other purposes. Or in easier to understand words - we recycle discarded materials into new uses.

I have a love of history, organic foods and maintaining a high degree of health. I walk almost every day for at least an hour. I have a sacred place alongside a creek near our home where my husband and I were married and where we go swimming in our own garden of Eden, if the floods don't knock out our efforts to dam it slightly (we never succeed for more than 6 mos at keeping a dam in place there).

My in-laws live in the same farm acreage complex and we are helping them to remain in their home for the remainder of their days by our own assistance or help that we hire. We took our pastures out of marginal cattle production approx 5 years ago (this was cow-calf units placed by a local rancher who leased the ground from us) and planted over 18,000 trees of a dozen mixed hardwood species as well as some flowering trees like Redbuds and Dogwoods and some evergreen Cedars and Pine to protect the riparian buffer of our watershed. We consider this a forest preserve and the trees are meant to be left intact and not harvested.

We are currently building a new, environmentally friendly home/office complex in a more secluded location as our dirt road has become way too heavily trafficked by the 6-7 families who share it with us. We are building it to be a refuge - hopefully - for many generations to come. I have set an intention to be reborn there to my descendants (again as a woman) a few generations hence, so that I can have the pleasure of living there for an entire lifetime. I love this place that much.

We have 3 cats, 3 lab frogs (Spotty, Dusky & Pinky) who have a better life with us than they would have otherwise, dozens of hummingbirds in the summer and a few neighborly Possums, Raccoons, Coyotes, Deer, Minks and Herons that share the beauty of this space with us.
