Joel S Goldsmith mentions that all we have to remember is that God's presence can be experienced by meditation and that there is only one power in the universe and in our life, God omnipotent and finally that God's Grace supplies us with all we really need so stop asking Him for material things. That's all. Simple practice, right?

last month I gave my TV away. What a blessing! I was trying to live a new life of solitude, slence and prayer and I had no idea that such a simple thing as giving the TV away would make it so much easier :)

While tv can be demonic, it can also serve to uplift our spirits, minds, and hearts. For example, there are 24/7 of classical music, international science of how the universe was born, about the speed of light, the black holes, galaxies, and interviews with all the major scientific modern and old (like Newton and Einstein); painting lessons in half hour. Well all I want to say is that I don't watch the news, trash movies, etc., etc., etc. Above all, tv has come a long way. Furthermore, there are many many channels on Spirituality, Bible studies, and Religious museums which you could never get to see unless you travel and have enough energy to see them all. In addition to that there is a little apparatus named TIVO which you could tape what you wish to watch later on.
Besides that, I communicate with several cyber-hermits and am trying to settle down in a community who are independent hermits or solitaries and buy something for myself. This is only a long project far far in the horizon.
For now this is all I have to say.
Peace to all. Sofia
I decided to post blogs instead. Perhaps a group later after I figure out how to maneuver around this site. :O)

You may already know I don't have a TV and haven't watched in over 8 years. My brain is much better to heve less programming and useless clutter.
Peace to you!
